TEDxLisboa, which is part of the TEDx global movement, is a non-profit idea-sharing series of conferences that I help organize with other volunteers, in Lisboa. In 2014, for several months, I photographed the process that led to that year’s conference and then wrote about it. All text is Portuguese.

In the Spring of 2016, I buried ten sunflower seeds in a circle in a large pot and covered them with soil. I watered them. After two weeks, I saw the first signs of green. The first sunflower bloomed a couple of months later.
By the end of the Summer all flowers had bloomed, at different heights, and had already began do dry out. Each of those ten flowers had it’s own beauty and particularities.
I took a picture of the tallest flower. There is no record of the others.
